Add an element of healing to your teaching and practice with somatic yoga and myofascial release. This training, for both teachers and practitioners, will give you the tools to help facilitate healing for the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, and the brain. By working on a subtle level, somatic work helps us turn our awareness inward where healing begins. The training will cover the basics of somatic work and somatic movement patterns for hip, shoulder, neck and back pain, nervous system and vagus nerve, somatic meditation, working with fascia and myofascial release work, the lymphatic system, using somatics to prepare for asana practice and sequencing ideas, somatics breath regulation, and much more!
Students will come away with skills to help them work with their own bodies, work with private clients, as well as the basics of teaching a somatic class or incorporating somatic ideas into regular yoga classes.
Major elements of the training will be recorded, and offered through google classroom. Evening zoom sessions will be recorded as well.
$825 stand alone training, or as Yoga Alliance approved continuing education hours, or as a module in the 300 hour Certification Program at West End Yoga in Allentown (included with the cost of the 300 hour training)
