Meet New York Times bestselling author Soman Chainani on tour for his new young adult novel, YOUNG WORLD!
About this Event

From the author of the School for Good and Evil series comes a renegade thriller, about a teenager elected President of the United States, sparking a global revolution of young leaders — until one of them is murdered and he’s the prime suspect.

This is a event that includes a talk, Q&A, and book signing.

To attend: A ticket is required to attend this event. Tickets are available as long as supplies last. There are two ticket options:

  • General Admission + 1 copy of Young World: Admits one guest
  • General Admission + $5 coupon: Admits one guest. The cost of this ticket may be redeemed for $5 off any of Soman's books on the night of the event.

Check In: At check in, all guests will receive their copy of Young World or $5 coupon as well as a ticket that assigns them to a signing line group.

Signing Guidelines: After the program, guests will be called up to enter the signing line according to the signing line groups they were assigned to during check in.

Soman Chainani will personalize all copies of Young World and sign any books purchased from Red Balloon the night of the event. Guests may bring up to three books from home to have signed. There will be additional copies of Young World and select backlist titles available for purchase during the event.

Photos: A bookseller or volunteer will be available to take photos of guests with Soman upon request.

Accessibility: Red Balloon Bookshop is wheelchair accessible and has a disability parking spot directly behind our store. If you have a disability or medical condition and have questions about or need other specific accommodations, please email [email protected].

Can’t make it? Red Balloon will have your copy of Young World signed and will hold it at our store for up to 30 days after the event.

Code of Conduct: Red Balloon strives to create a kind, safe, and welcoming space where everyone is treated fairly and thoughtfully, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.
