As an environmental organization with nearly 60 years of bringing people together to care for our region’s beaches, parks, waterways, and neighborhoods, SOLVE is exploring the idea of creating a future mascot. After all, isn’t everything a little more approachable and fun with a recognizable character?

We’re inviting the community to help imagine what that could look like.

Join us at Sonder Listening Bar between 5:30 and 7:00 pm for a relaxed evening of sketching, doodling, and sharing ideas. You don’t need to be an artist or have any experience. If you’re someone with a wild idea on a napkin, your creativity could help inspire a future mascot that represents community action and care for our environment.

Stick around afterward if you’d like. We’ll continue the evening at the Portland Eco Film Festival with the screening of Expansive Ecological Imaginations I at The Hollywood Theatre.
