Solstice Paddle & Wellness Challenge - Deal Lake, Asbury Park - 5/21/25

Hello Community Friends,

My name is Kevin R. Burkitt, President and founder of PDL4HUNGER.INC – (EIN 934929309)

My passion for outdoor recreation and community outreach found an interesting paring when I realized that I had the potential to use my American Canoe Association (ACA)- kayak instruction certifications to teach the community how to kayak safely, passing the gains- paper cups, plates, napkins, and coffee supplies through Johnson’s Restaurant Equipment (JRE) back into the food insecure community.
The goal is to be on the water from 5:00 am through sunset- 8:30 pm, hosting cost-based events, trips, rentals, lessons, games, and skills challenges. I am asking you to help me promote the event and help me put people in the boats throughout the day.
