Artist and printmaker Theo Paul Vorster celebrates 20 years of working in lino printmaking with The Shape of Passage, a new solo exhibition opening at Rust-en-Vrede Gallery in Durbanville on 15 August at 11:00.
The exhibition will run until 12 September.
The exhibition marks a significant milestone in Vorster's career, bringing his journey full circle as he returns to the gallery where he presented his first lino-cut exhibition in 2006.
Rather than looking back, The Shape of Passage presents an entirely new body of work that reflects the artistic growth, technical mastery, and creative confidence developed over two decades of dedication to the medium. The exhibition explores the idea of passage, not only as movement through landscapes and places, but also as journeys through time, memory, change, and personal experience.
