Every child deserves to start school on the right foot! The 2026 Soles for Christ free shoe giveaway will be on August 10-11 (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for students in the St. Joseph area.
There are NO income eligibility requirements and NO pre-registration!
The Soles for Christ program enables any child in Pre-K (must be 4 years old) through 12th grades, in Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, DeKalb and Doniphan Counties, to receive a NEW pair of tennis shoes to wear their first day of school.
Soles for Christ was created to boost the child’s self-esteem and enthusiasm for the coming school year and provide parents with some monetary relief in covering the initial expenses associated with the new school year.
