Join us at the Layered Studio for a for a fun and unique cake decorating experience where you will learn how to decorate your own 6” cake in a gorgeous winter theme. All materials and toolsneeded to create this cake will be provided by us. Simply show up ready to have fun, be creative, and eat cake!
In this class, we will cover:
The fundamentals of working with buttercream, including our tips and tricks on how to get thesilkiest buttercream ever, how temperature is key to a smooth finish, and our recommendationson Swiss meringue vs. American buttercream
How to create buttercream mountains with a palette knife.
How to add piped buttercream trees to the sides of the cake.
How to create buttercream sugar cone tree toppers.
