🌊☀️ Choose Your Own Lake – Watercolor Night! ☀️🌊
Lake days are almost here, Minnesota friends! Let’s start dreaming about summer, sunshine, and your favorite place on the water.
Join us at Sunken Ship Brewing Company on Friday, April 3rd for a creative and relaxing watercolor class where YOU get to paint your own custom lake! This is a Choose Your Own Lake experience. Think your family cabin, favorite camping spot, lake home, fishing getaway, or go-to summer retreat. In the Land of 10,000 Lakes, the possibilities are endless!
✨ How it works:
After registering, you’ll receive a form to submit your lake (a URL link works great!). As long as the lake shape is fairly simple — not too many tiny islands or intricate channels — I’ll prep and trace your custom outline so it’s ready for you to paint.
No lake submitted? You’ll be defaulted to either Lake Superior or Lake Mille Lacs. We’ll explore blending techniques, layering & washes, creating texture, and optional abstract ink details!
No experience needed! This class is beginner-friendly, relaxed, and designed to be fun and inspiring for all skill levels.
All supplies and step-by-step instruction are included.

Please arrive no later than 5 minutes before class begins.
A minimum of 7 participants is required. If the event does not meet the minimum, you will be notified.
Classes are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event. This venue space is handicap accessible.
