Book tickets and get more info at www.katikatifolkclub.co.nzDavid & Shimna are an acoustic guitar and violin duo whose music has been described as “absolutely beautiful… perfectly played… fragile yet powerful.” Their sound blends intricate guitar work, lyrical fiddle, and close vocal harmonies into a powerful yet vulnerable experience for all present.
David is based in Auckland, while Shimna has been living in Belfast, Northern Ireland since March 2025. This tour marks a special reunion, a chance to bring their music back home to New Zealand and share it in the way it’s meant to be heard: up close and personal in a town near you.
This summer, they’ll be touring small halls and community spaces across Aotearoa. Each evening is an invitation: a night of stories, connection, and an experience intended to stay with you long after the music has ended.
