Soil Day with Soil Mentor

Everyone is talking about soil health!

Join us for a practical workshop on a livestock farm looking at different ways to measure soil health using tests which can then be recoreded on the Soil Mentor app.

The reason Tristan and Clare have been working with Soil Mentor since 2020 is because the tests can be done easily with very little equipment required.

Tristan has worked with farmers all over the UK, Germany, Holland, Denmark and Sweden, supporting them to do soil testing on their farms.

Clare has used the data and insights she has learned to make changes to how she manages farms both here at Planton Farm and Northfield Farm, Oxford.

Soil Mentor can be used to demonstrate that you are monitoring soil health for SFI under the SAM1 option.

A simple lunch with produce from Planton Farm will be provided - please email us [email protected] with any dietary requirements.

The whole day will be spent outside so please bring appropiate clothing/boots/waterproofs/suncream etc!
