Beat the winter blues with a knotty, twisted and fun workshop! Grainbakers is bringing our soft pretzel class to Faction Brewing in Alameda. Class is held in the giant warehouse behind the taps, with one of the best sunset views of San Francisco.
Come early for afternoon pints and a bite from the food trucks, or stay after class and watch the city lights come on.
Mix your dough and twist your pretzels. Watch our boil and bake demo. Then enjoy hot golden pretzels and learn the secrets to our dreamy cheddar pub dip and dipping mustard.
You'll leave with:
• Your twisted pretzels, ready to boil and bake at home or freeze for later
• Recipe cards for Grainbakers Soft Pretzels, Hot Cheddar Cheese Dip and Pretzel Dipping Mustard
• A new dough cutter and bench scraper
These are whole grain pretzels made with caramel malted brewer's grain. We teach the sodium carbonate method, not lye. Ticket does not include food or drinks. Ages 14 and up with a ticket. Please wear comfortable, closed toe shoes. Great for date night, groups and birthdays!
