Welcome to the Social Justice Society's 3rd Annual Career Panel! Join us at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law for an exciting event where you can gain insights into various career paths in the field of social justice. Lunch and refreshments will be provided!

This years panel will be in support of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa, an organization that provides supports and services to women and gender-diverse people to avoid criminalization and incarceration, among other things. Stay tuned for our fundraising dates!

This years panelists:

• Robert Vitulano (he/him) - Queer family lawyer working as Review Counsel with the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic

• Miriam Martin (she/her) - A bilingual lawyer who holds the position of Senior Officer in the legal department at the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)

• Sarah-Claude L'Ecuyer (she/her) - Founder of SJS and associate at Goldblatt Partners LLP

• Leighann Burns - Family lawyer & professor

Bienvenue au 3e panel annuel de carrières de la Société de justice sociale ! Rejoignez-nous à la Faculté de droit de l'Université d'Ottawa pour un événement passionnant au cours duquel vous pourrez en apprendre plus par rapport à différents parcours de carrière dans le domaine de la justice sociale. Un dîner et des rafraîchissements seront offerts !
Cette année, le panel sera organisé au profit de la Société Elizabeth Fry d'Ottawa, un organisme qui, entre autres, offre du soutien et des services aux femmes et aux personnes de différent genre afin d'éviter la criminalisation et l'incarcération. - Robert Vitulano (il/lui) - Avocat Queer en droit de la famille travaillant comme avocat superviseur à la Clinique juridique communautaire de l'Université d'Ottawa.
- Miriam Martin (elle/la) - Avocate bilingue qui occupe le poste d'agent principal au service juridique du Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique (SCFP).
- Sarah-Claude L'Écuyer (elle/la) - Fondatrice de la SJS et associée chez Goldblatt Partners LLP
- Leighann Burns - Avocate et professeure en droit de la famille
