“Get together in large numbers and share the Way and mantras together!” ~ Sri Dharma Mittra
Come join us for an evening of singing songs of praise and love. Join us afterwards to socialise with great souls.
There is no need to be a “good” singer. This is about the collective energy of group singing from our hearts.
Song books will be provided. Bring something to sit on if you wish to sit on the floor. There will be chairs and spots on couches available. You are also welcome to bring hand drums or other percussive instruments to play along with us. ❤
The OMBuds (Justine, Melissa and Stephen), Akhil Nair and Joshua Earth will be guiding you through this practice called kirtan, a practice of the heart. with Evan Runge accompanying (and in all probability, stealing the show) on the violin. Be prepared for a glorious soundscape of melodious voices and instruments!
Our practice will be repeating mantras – repeated words of love, light and praise. By doing this, we have a way of meditating by concentrating on music, sound, and vibrations. This shall be a practice of the heart; all you need is receptiveness, a smile, and your beautiful presence.
Cost: By voluntary donation at the door ($15-20 suggested amount)
