At a Living Library, you don’t borrow a book. You borrow a person. Bring your curiosity and questions for an honest conversation with David.
David Tellefsen is a retired U.S. Marine Corps First Sergeant who served for 22 years, including multiple deployments and two combat tours in Iraq. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he worked in human resources and education before becoming the Director of Fond du Lac County Veteran Services. Today, he
continues his career of service by helping veterans, their families, and the community. David’s story explores leadership, service, transition, resilience, finding purpose after retirement, and the lessons that come from a lifetime of serving others.
This event is free and open to the public. Dave will speak in room 205 of the Stayer Center.
