Social Dialogues in Art and Design Symposium at MOME
How can art, design, and social responsibility intersect? How do participatory creative methods support community co-thinking? The MOME invites you to explore these questions at a three-day international symposium investigating contemporary designer responsibility.
The Social Dialogues symposium showcases community-engaged, participatory, and inclusive creative practices. Through lectures, panel discussions, workshops, project presentations, and an exhibition, the programme examines the current questions of social sustainability and design.
Day 1 (6 October, Hungarian): Art, design, and social responsibility – how can creators use creativity to respond to social issues?
Day 2 (7 October, English): Participatory creative practices – featuring Prof. Shilpa Das on disability-centred health design, workshops on community engagement - for instance the D. Dance Alliance Project -, and interactive installations. (Co-organised by Social Design Network)
Day 3 (8 October, English): Ecology and communities – exploring the connections between social and ecological sustainability, featuring Dr. Flavia Mameli, plus the opening of the Waterside Voices exhibition. (Co-organised by Social Design Network)

Hogyan kapcsolódik össze a művészet, a design és a társadalmi felelősségvállalás? Miként segíthetik a részvételi alkotói módszerek a közösségi együttgondolkodást? A MOME háromnapos nemzetközi szimpóziumán ezeket a kérdéseket járjuk körül.
A Social Dialogues szimpózium közösségi részvételre épülő, inkluzív és felelős alkotói gyakorlatokat mutatja be. Előadások, panelbeszélgetések, workshopok, projektbemutatók és egy kiállítás révén vizsgáljuk a társadalmi fenntarthatóság és a design aktuális kérdéseit.
Első nap (október 6., magyar): Művészet, design és társadalmi felelősség – hogyan reflektálhatnak a tervezők a kreativitás eszközeivel?
Második nap (október 7., angol): Bevonó alkotói gyakorlatok – Prof. Shilpa Das előadása a fogyatékosságközpontú egészségügyi tervezésről, workshopok a közösségi bevonásról, többek között a D. Dance Alliance projektről, és interaktív installációk.
Harmadik nap (október 8., angol): Ökológia és közösségek – társadalmi és ökológiai fenntarthatóság, Dr. Flavia Mameli előadása, és a Waterside Voices kiállítás megnyitója.
