About this Event
This is a space for military veterans to connect, get in nature, and have real conversations about real life after service.
Many veterans are exploring new paths for personal growth, healing, and purpose, sometimes through therapy, time in nature, meditation, or plant medicine retreats. This walk offers a relaxed place to integrate those experiences and stay connected with others who understand the journey.
Hosted by Danny Bias, a100% disabled U.S. Coast Guard veteran living in the San Bernardino Mountains. The walk is built around a simple idea: movement, nature, and real conversation can help us stay grounded and centered. He is a Heroic Hearts Project Alumni (Tarapoto, Peru March '25), Active Wounded Warrior Alumni , Healing Breakthrough Advocacy Team, The Aya Mission and VETS supporter.
The pace is relaxed and accessible for most fitness levels as we walk around beautiful Lake Gregory in Crestline, CA. We may add different locations on some months like; Heart Rock, Dogwood Canyon, Crest Park Hangglider launch point as well.
The goal is simply to walk together, share what’s real, and support each other along the way.
If you're a veteran who has attended a retreat, is doing personal growth work, or simply wants to connect with other veterans in a supportive outdoor environment, you’re welcome here.
