This course will give you an understanding of the residential building process from start to finish, including the many opportunities and challenges along the way. The following topics will be discussed in detail:

• Identifying Land and Conducting Land Related Due Diligence
• Designing the Home and Obtaining Approved Building Plans
• Obtaining Financing and Identifying Contractors
• Starting Construction and Working with Building Inspectors
• Working through Challenges, including, Theft, Delays, Mechanics Liens, Defects, and Bankrupt Contractors
• Finishing Construction and Moving In
