Snowman Shaker Board Make & Take

Create a Snowman with a Sparkling Surprise
Bring a little winter sparkle to your craft time with our Snowman Shaker Board Make & Take at Craft Warehouse. You will decorate a wooden snowman plaque and add a clear layer that holds glitter or confetti. The result is a cheerful seasonal piece with movement as well as shine. It is a different way to bring the familiar snowman into your holiday decorating.
Add Your Painted Details
First, use acrylic markers to decorate the wood plaque. White makes a snowy starting point for your design. Then, consider the hat and other details you would like to include. The project also gives you the option to paint the hat area on the clear layer. As you work, picture how the painted sections and sparkling filling will look together.
Build the Shaker Effect
Next, add glitter or confetti to the snowman design. A clear plastic cover lets you see the colorful pieces inside. Then, attach the clear cover to the plaque to enclose the sparkling details. Once everything holds securely, a gentle movement brings the loose sparkle to life. Instead of adding glitter only to the surface, you will create a little window into your winter scene.
Enjoy a Handmade Winter Accent
Finally, take your Snowman Shaker Board home as a reminder of your holiday crafting time. Display it as part of an indoor winter arrangement or give it to someone who enjoys cheerful seasonal decorations. You might pair it with a handwritten note for an extra personal touch. Bring a friend and compare your finished designs, or enjoy a creative break on your own.
Join us Saturday, November 7, from 2PM to 4PM PST. The Make & Take costs $10 per participant.
