Instructed Eucharist

Do you ever wonder why there's fanfare when the priest proclaims the gospel, or where the prayers we say every Sunday came from, or why the priest and acolytes wear robes? And what the heck is going on at the altar during the communion prayer?
For this Sunday service, we'll offer a worship that stops to explain what's going on and why. Our children will be invited up to be with Rev. Sara as she presides over communion (if they want!).
We hope learning about the origins and meaning of our liturgy will help you to drop more deeply into your spirituality going forward.
