Every month Clay Squared invites the community to our studios to learn something new about ceramic clay and polymer clay! And have some snacks!
Josh and Layl travel a lot and love to look at art from the past! Over the years they have used this inspiration to create many designs and pieces of art. Josh will talk about how tiles from the past that he has seen around the world have turned into back splashes and fireplaces. And then you will try your hand at being inspired from history. Layl will share some of her actual sketches from her drawings at museums and that you will transfer onto clay and then add your own designs to.
As for snacks - well Tapas of course! Which as we have learned from our trip to Spain can be anything from chips to sardines!
