SMS Mom’s Day Out: Sound Bath, Meditation & Relaxation

THIS MONTH, Join Single Mom Strong and take a well-deserved break. Immerse yourself in a calming, restorative experience at the serene Lotus Garden Meditation Center in Carmichael, California. Designed with relaxation in mind, this special event includes a soothing sound bath, guided meditation, and gentle relaxation practices to help you unwind and reconnect with yourself.

Following the session, enjoy peaceful conversation and light refreshments in the tranquil surroundings of the retreat center. It’s a perfect opportunity to recharge, connect with others, and simply breathe.

Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, all are welcome. Special thanks to Lotus Garden Meditation Center for generously providing this peaceful and restorative experience to the Single Mom Strong community.

Childcare: Childcare is provided during Mom's Night/Day Out events, but children must be pre-registered. Children must be 2 and older (and potty trained) to attend childcare when mom is not on site. If you have registered your child(ren) for childcare, arrive at The Empowerment Center (7525 Auburn Blvd. suite 5 - Citrus Heights, CA 95610) at 1:30 PM. Please be courteous and check children into childcare on time and travel to the location (Lotus Garden Yoga & Meditation Center, 7225 Lincoln AveCarmichael, CA 95608). We opened our childcare options to include teenagers of single moms (13 to 17 years-old). This allows teenagers to serve as volunteers at our childcare center during our MNO events.

Lotus Garden Yoga & Meditation Center: We’ll meet inside at 1:50 PM—don’t be late, the experience starts right at 2:00 PM!

We’re removing the loneliness of single parenting! Every month, Single Mom Strong gives you 3-4 opportunities to connect with other local single mothers. One of those opportunities is our monthly Mom’s Night Out or Mom’s Day Out event. Get to know other local single moms while you "refill your cup". Our MNO events are opportunities to get together with women of similar circumstances and share new experiences. At these events, there is plenty of time to discuss challenges or wins and share ideas or resources, while also just enjoying a fun break. Whether you have previously attended an SMS event or not, ALL single moms are welcome. Inexpensive, quality childcare in our licensed childcare facility is always available during our Mom's Night Out events, but it fills quickly, so register as soon as you know you can attend.

• Single Mom Strong hosts events for single moms and their children. If you are not a single mom, your registration will not be honored. Thank you for respecting and supporting our mission to empower single moms.
• Only registrations completed through Eventbrite will be accepted. We know our supporters love to spread the word, and sometimes our events are reposted on other websites. While we appreciate the support, please do not register anywhere other than Eventbrite.
