Description of Workshop/ Class:
Come learn a new fun and relaxing art form that is suitable for all abilities! Kinusaiga (pronounced “key-new-sigh-guh”) is a contemporary art form created in 1987 by Japanese artist Setsu Maeno.
You will create your own colorful seascape using a beautiful assortment of fabrics. No sewing involved! Your finished piece measures 4.5 x 4.5 inches and fits nicely into the included 5 x 5 inch open shadowbox frame. It comes ready to hang with a jute twine loop on the back, but it also looks great sitting on a shelf, desk, or bookcase. All materials and tools needed are provided, but feel free to bring any fabric scraps of your own. I’m excited to introduce you to your next favorite craft addiction!

By completing this registration and payment, you agree to knowingly and freely assume all risk of injury or harm, both known and unknown, even if arising from the environment or negligence of the property owner, instructor, or other and you assume full responsibility and risk for your participation.
· Any special needs seating or other arrangements must be requested in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
If you are registering for more than just yourself, you must make your guest aware of all the information included in this registration.
· Photos may be taken during your class/workshop and used for business purposes (including but not limited to advertisements, instructional materials, signage, etc.). By attending this event, you are agreeing to be photographed or have your work photographed for these purposes.

Cancellation policy: You will receive a credit toward another SMP class by the artist teaching/ hosting the workshop you registered for, if he or she is notified of cancellation at least one week prior to class date, No Shows will not be credited or refunded. Any credits issued will need to be applied to a class within 6 months!
Classes canceled by the Host or SMP will be eligible for credit or refund.
