From April - October our Sunday Classics series is taking a trip back to the '70s! Seventies Sundays showcases some of the most beloved films from the โNew Hollywoodโ era on the big screen. Featuring early works from iconic filmmakers Steven Spielberg & George Lucas to eccentric hits like Harold and Maude and Smokey and the Bandit. He soon runs into trouble after picking up an attractive hitchhiker (Sally Field) with an overzealous Sheriff (Jackie Gleason) on her tail. SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT is a revved up B-movie at its core โ featuring impressive car chases and an iconic theme song to boot.
