Celebrity Chefs Nick Wallace of Hen & Egg Café and the Two Mississippi Museums’ Nissan Café and Guillermo Salinas of Just Vanilla Bakes and Just Vanilla Coffee Bar team up for a special Oct. 22 edition of the award-winning Smith Park Supper Club. Dine under the stars, while enjoying live jazz and libations. 6-9 p.m.
Our chefs have an amazing five-course meal planned:
First Course - Molé Negro & Croissant: crisp laminated croissant, complex molé negro, toasted sesame, herbs
Second Course – Roasted heirloom beets, micro quinoa, micro okra, goat cheese mousse, ice-plant, blackberries, beet balsamic, bread crumbs
Third Course – Smoked lamb meatball, sweet potato, harissa gastrique, brie, red mustard green, dukkah
Fourth Course – Catfish, whipped catfish belly, potlikker, crispy pork belly, roll
Fifth Course – Tres leches cake: guava mousse, passion fruit cream, coconut chantilly
Wines and complimentary cocktail included; live music from Raphael Semmes and the Smith Park Supper Club band.
