SMAWL offers a Low Cost Vaccination Clinic monthly from March until November at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds. The event is from 6 pm to 8pm. We offer rabies vaccines for $15, distemper vaccines for $15, and microchipping for $30. This is a drive through vaccination clinic and participants are seen in the order they arrive. All animals must be restrained or in carriers. Distemper vaccines are valid for 1 year from the date of vaccination. if you present a current, up to date rabies certificate, the rabies vaccine is valid for 3 years if you do not, the rabies vaccine is valid for 1 year. You must have the certificate to verify a 3 year vaccine. No exceptions. Owners are responsible for the safekeeping of the vaccination certificates. SMAWL is not responsible for lost certificates.
