A forum and network for small groups, to help you thrive!
About this Event

Are you a small or new community group or charity? Would you like top tips on running a group, finding funding and the opportunity to network with other small groups?

Join us for our next Small Groups' Forum in May. We run three forums per year and the topics are chosen by small groups like yours.

Theme for the May 2026 Forum:

Many of you mentioned that you would like support with finding the right volunteers. Steve Hendry, RVA Volunteering Development Manager, will be attending to talk more on this topic and to offer some tips and tools.

We will also have the usual upcoming funding opportunities and networking opportunity.

Who should attend:

Anyone running or volunteering with a small or new community group in Reading, or anyone wishing to set up a new group or project.

Practicalities:

Registration and refreshments from 9.45am

Session from 10am - 12noon

Venue: Main Hall, Reading International Solidarity Centre (RISC), 35-39 London Street, Reading, RG1 4PS. Come to the 'event space' entrance as marked on the following map https://risc.org.uk/about/how-to-find-us/
