Join us for a session of educational insight for small business owners. This workshop will be a HR Toolbox for Small Business Owners. This event is free to all chamber members, and attendance is available in-person or via Zoom.

Our presenter, Carlan Myers, brings over 20 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources. Prior to joining Warm Hearth Village, Carlan served in management positions with American Healthcare, Medical Facilities of America, and Commonwealth Care of Roanoke. His expertise includes talent HR management; Federal and State HR Law Compliance; organizational development; succession planning; compensation and benefit plans; and leadership training and coaching.
Carlan is a graduate of Roanoke College with a B.A. in Business Administration. He proudly served his country for eight years in the United States Air Force. Carlan is a member and President of New River Society of Human Resource Managers and Past President of the American Payroll Association Chapter in Roanoke.
Myers resides in Roanoke County with his wife Norma and children Aaron (1986-2012) and Steven.
