Small Business Expo Imperial Valley

Celebrating Imperial Valley with the Small Business Expo in El Center. The Small Business Expo is coordinated by the Center for Business Advancement programs of Southwestern College, including the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the San Diego, Orange, & Imperial APEX Accelerator, and the San Diego & Imperial Women’s Business Center (WBC).

The Small Business Expo will include panels on steps a small business can take to obtain contract work with different government agencies and other agencies. To get help with lending and contracting, business owners will learn from the SBDC, WBC, and APEX. Small businesses will have the opportunity to connect with buyers from corporate organizations, city, state, and local agencies, as well as local lenders and resource partners.

Join us for an enriching experience filled with light refreshments and a wealth of information, insights, and networking opportunities.

• Support and Lending: Get to know your small business resource centers and specialized lenders. Our guest speakers include representatives from the Women’s Business Center, Small Business Development Center, SBA, APEX Accelerator, and more!
• Procurement: Learn about government contracting opportunities. Stay tuned for announcements about our guest speakers.
• Networking: Connect with key entities and fellow entrepreneurs in San Diego’s regional small business community.
• Free Professional Headshots: Free professional headshots will be offered to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is limited by photographer capacity, so early participation is encouraged. To be scheduled for a headshot, attendees must be pre-registered by October 22nd.
