Slow Stitching Vessel Workshop

Come and join us for a relaxing & mindful day learning the art of Slow stitching and creating your own personalised fabric vessel. Your fabric vessel could be for storing paint brushes, knitting needles, pens, dried flowers/seedheads or even flowers. The vessel is a perfect size for a jam jar!
What is Slow Stitching? Slow stitching is an ancient practice, although the term is relatively new. To slow stitch is to take time to mindfully create something new through stitching with needle and thread. It's also a fantastic way to use up those spare fabrics and old clothes.
All materials are provided apart from the jam jar! You may want to bring any bits of lace or buttons/fabric that may mean something to you to incorporate into your design.
Sewing will be mainly hand stitching unless you wish to incorporate some machine sewing into your design.
