Seedpods and natural forms
The beautiful shapes of seedpods and natural forms will be used as inspiration to create batiks on tissue paper. Working with hot wax as a resist we will use bleach and inks to create imaginative interpretations of the theme, using Jenny’s contemporary batik technique.. Work will be suitable for framing, and can also be added to with stitch at a later date.
Students should bring an apron, hairdryer, Pritt type glue stick, scissors and images for inspiration. Please bring newspaper if you have any.
£75 including materials, hots drinks all day, biscuits & cake. Please bring packed lunch although we will break for lunch and there are cafe’s and a shop down the road. To book click ‘Going’ and PM Ditzy Rose or email [email protected]
