Stitch, socialize and sip delicious cocoa at our sewing happy hour.
About this Event

Bring a hand sewing project and join us for a relaxing stitching session and socialize with us at Cocoa Legato, a bean-to-bar chocolate cafe in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. Any form of hand stitching project is welcome, including knitting/crocheting.

Your co-hosts are Jeni Falldine and Sherry Koyama of Harumi K.
This is a free event, but we do ask for a RSVP as space is limited. Drop-ins on the night of are welcome as space allows.

Jeni Falldine studied art and textiles at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee. With over 20 years of experience in sewing clothing, she is especially drawn to the magic of dance costume, upcycling, and immaculate fit.

Sherry Koyama is the founder/designer of women's clothing line Harumi K. She has degrees in Psychology and Studio Art from University of California, Davis and a Patternmaking/Fashion Design Certificate from Apparel Arts in San Francisco. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Impact 100 Seattle and volunteers for Dress for Success Seattle.
