After taking a few years off from a season kickoff event, we're returning late this month with our Season Kickoff celebration, which doubles once again as the annual meeting for the Slow Roll Cleveland non-profit organization. We find ourselves in the Flats this year, in the gracious halls of Music Box Supper Club. Our hosts will provide a "Fuel the Ride" menu for guests, consisting of cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, tater tots and fries from a self-serve station. Additionally, the Music Box's bar will be open and staffed for adult beverages at an extra cost.
For entertainment, we've lined up Cleveland DJ Lily Jade, who will perform for the first hour of the event. Then we'll begin our Annual Meeting presentation, which will include a presentation to our ridership, updates from our team and slate confirmation of our incoming board members for 2026, as well as volunteer recognition.
We'll also have tons of raffle prizes for you to bid on, from great concert tickets to bike accessories from some of our awesome local bike shops. We should have our season schedules printed by then, so you'll be able to pick some up for yourself and for friends you want to bring along to rides this year.
Tickets for this event are $29 in advance/$35 at the door. All proceeds go toward funding our 70-person strong volunteer organization as we put on 20+ free, inclusive social bike rides for you over the next six months, for the 13th year (most of them consecutive!)
A limited number of volunteer opportunities may be available in exchange for admission to the event. We'll keep you posted when those come up.
Look for more details about prizes and other surprises as the event draws closer.
