About this Event

THE EXORCIST II (1977), John Boorman’s follow-up to William Friedkin’s horror blockbuster, was an ambitious expansion of the ideas from the first film, but a critical and commercial failure in its day, one that’s nonetheless gathered a following over the decades since its release. We are pairing this misunderstood horror misfire with a Westchester Exclusive premiere of BOORMAN IN THE DEVIL (2025), David Kittredge’s new documentary on the making (and unmaking) of one of the most notorious horror sequels, featuring new interviews with cast and crew, including director John Boorman, who until this documentary, never gave modern interviews about the ordeal in getting EXORCIST II made.
