Through moving personal histories and treasured family recipes, Hersh explores how food became a symbol of survival, memory, and hope for Holocaust survivors rebuilding their lives after unimaginable loss. This compelling presentation highlights the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring role that food plays in preserving culture, identity, and connection across generations.
The evening will feature a 40-minute talk followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Tickets can include a book or books can be purchased the night of.

June Hersh is the best-selling author of seven books, six of which are focused on food. They include Food, Hope & Resilience; Authentic Recipes and Remarkable Stories from Holocaust Survivors (formerly known as Recipes Remembered a Celebration of Survival.).
