About the Show: The entire kingdom is giddy to celebrate the birth of the princess Aurora, when an unwelcome guest crashes the party and curses the princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel at the age of 16 and die. In an effort to save the princess, a good fairy alters the spell so that instead of death, the spinning wheel brings an endless sleep to the princess - that can only be broken by true love's kiss. The King orders all the spinning wheels in the kingdom to be broken and the Queen takes Aurora to hide in the woods until the day after her 16th birthday. With up-beat musical numbers, magic, and sword-fights, this fairy-tale follows the journey of Aurora as she discovers who she is and finds the power to follow her dreams.

"Sleeping Beauty The Musical" runs approx. 2 hours and 15mins in length, with a 15 minute intermission, and is most enjoyed by audiences age 5 and up.
