Granpa (Lucas Abela)Harsh noise meets bloodcraft when Granpa (Lucas Abela) hits the stage. His free jazz inspired sounds — achieved by blowing on amplified shards of glass with his mouth (and sometimes bloodying himself in the process) — have toured the world since the ‘90s and were featured on Death Grips’ 2018 album Year of the Snitch. This one-of-a-kind show will be an out-of-body audio experience for the ages.
Cooling Prongs
Christopher Fleeger re-interperates the Cooling Prongs noise‑rock ritual as a solo set. Imagine someone summoning a furnace spirit using pedals and scrap metal, and you’re in the ballpark. Check out their 2020 release 316, or better yet, come in blind and lose yourself within Fleeger’s musique concrète sound.
Radioactive Vampire Teeth
A cataclysmic form of sonic hell borne from the depths of the bizarre pandrogyne psyche of Matthew Springer and Pajamas Concrete, experimental noise rock duo Radioactive Vampire Teeth leaves a trail of carnage in its wake. Through circuit bent devices, intense drumming, warped vocals, and other unconventional matters, the group is known for unusual sounds and performative stage antics.
