Skyview High Summer School 2025 | Culinary Lab (General Event)

Join us for “Skyview High Summer School” from K-pop music and Japanese fashion to Chinese dim sum and more! Take part in the first three “classes”, earn “credits” and get the chance to meet at the commencement ceremony on August 30th!

Thursday, August 14th 5-7 p.m.

Culinary Lab

The class will include a Chinese dim-sum workshop (please register for Dim-Sum Workshop ticket separately), a Southeast Asian-style healthy meal prep demo, Asian snack tasting, and a Kawaii lunchbox competition.

• Kawaii lunchbox competition:

Post photos or videos of your lunchbox creation on Instagram, tagging @theshopsatskyviewny and #SkyviewHigh by 8/11.

Three finalists will be selected to compete on site on 8/14. The winner will join Kang Daniel on stage (8/30) and receive a $300 Skyview gift certificate.

Commencement

The Commencement Day with Kang Daniel is NOT open to the public; to attend, you MUST earn 10 “credits” by participating in qualifying activities from the first three classes on 7/24, 8/3 and 8/14; credits will be logged via the center’s “Attendance Report” APP.

After collecting 10 credits, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for the Commencement Day.

101 lucky ticket winners will be notified via email on August 18th.
