SFLIC Workshop Series #3: Simple Food Preservation

Sky Farm LIC is a rooftop educational farm run by the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens. 2025 is our second season, and we're happy to announce we're expanding our programming to involve a series of community workshops.

Join us on Friday September 26th for our third workshop: simple food preservation. We'll discuss quick pickling techniques, dehydration, what and how to freeze food and food products, and curing the harvest from your garden. We'll also be sampling cured, pickled, and dehydrated food from the farm! Grab some recipes and resources on your way out.

Simple Food Preservation runs from 3-6pm. Feel free to join late.
