Our Bronze Skills for life class is specifically designed for the adolescent dog, as this can be such a trying time everyone. Your teenage puppy has now stopped listening to you, and is braver and wonders off further than before, and appears to selectively listen to you.This course will help you to regain their focus and attention on you, whilst building on their self/impulse control, and developing their frustration tolerance.
All adolescent puppies must be able to cope with being around other dogs and humans.
Course content will include, but is not limited to (we can/will adapt to the needs of the class and individual): -
✔ Self Control & Focus exercises
✔ Life skills such as:- Door manners,Send to bed/Mat, loose lead walking.
✔ Wait/Stay
✔ Come when called/recall
✔ Tricks and Mental exercise games and much more...
The course lasts for 6 weeks comprising of weekly 1hr classes in small groups (max 5 dogs), all techniques used are reward based using kind and effective training methods.
📅Dates
Class runs on Mondays from 22nd September - 27th October 7:40 - 8:40pm (1hr per week for 6 weeks)
The course costs £100 for the six week course, with weekly notes, training plans and secure field sessions to practise outdoor exercises.
On completion of the course all dogs will receive a goody bag, graduation certificate and rosette.
Only puppies who have attended our Puppy School or our Young Dog class can attend. If you have attended another similar class please get in touch as you may be able to attend.
