Sketchbook Satchel - the art class that prepares you to travel!

Join us at the Banora Point Community Centre for an exciting art class that will unleash your creativity and get you ready for your next adventure! Located at Banora Point, our in-person event is perfect for art enthusiasts who love to travel.

The first hour is spent focusing on a particular drawing skill. Mrs Red, a qualified Art Teacher & Illustrator prints off worksheets for this hour for everyone to follow. Then after a short break, we get into sketchbook drawing from colour printouts that Mrs Red supplies, usually with timed images starting from as quick as 2 minute sketches up to 20 minutes.

All you need to start these classes is a sketchbook and drawing pencils. I also encourage you to bring other art supplies you may have at home like coloured pencils, watercolours, gouache, pan pastels, coloured marker pens and crayons.

This class is subsidised through Tweed Shire FABS group. FABS stands for Fun Activities for Banora Seniors. However you do not have to be a senior to join this class, nor do you have to live in the area.
