A free meetup for sketchers and art dabblers of all kinds! Sketchy Folks is a regular meetup for the local community of makers in Nanaimo where we get to talk, create, make, and share art ideas.
For this meetup: Urban sketch or follow one of the drawing prompts provided. These prompts are usually fun and silly but we will also look at different ways to draw flowers and plants.
Cost: By donation, and optional. Every donation to NALT over $20 will receive a $10 gift certificate for plants at the nursery.
Bring:
A chair
Paper/A sketchbook
Whatever you want to draw with: Pen, pencil, crayon, pastel etc!
