Sketch & Sip 3.0 : Heirlooms
Every object has a story.
For the third edition of Sketch & Sip, we’re exploring the theme of Heirlooms — objects that carry memories, meaning, and personal history.
No drawing experience needed — just curiosity, a willingness to create, and something meaningful to bring along.
Please bring one object to sketch if you can. It could be a family keepsake, a travel souvenir, a gift from a loved one, or simply an everyday object with a story behind it. Through guided sketching and conversation, we’ll spend the evening drawing, observing, and sharing the stories these objects hold.
Don’t worry if you can’t think of anything or prefer not to bring an item — there will be plenty of objects available on the day to draw from.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- A guided sketching session by @paris.triantis.art centred around personal objects
- Time to observe, draw, and connect through storytelling
- A relaxed and welcoming creative atmosphere
- Beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels
- Sip, sketch, and share stories with fellow participants

About the Host
Hiya! My name is Paris, and I'm a lecturer in inclusive design/researcher and designer in inclusive design at Swinburne University! I am also an artist, dabbling in all sorts of mediums like oil paints, acrylic paints and pencil sketching. I love producing abstract art, figurative art, still-life art and en plein air art! Honestly, all the art things bring lots of joy.
I'm SO excited for you to join this Sabi Sketching Session, a beginner-expert friendly sketching environment where we will be surrounded by the good vibes of Sabi Sounds, be in a safe space to explore our creativity, listening to groovy disco era beats and enjoying a classic Sabi Sounds beverage in the beautiful sun room space. The vibes will be, I'm sure, immaculate. Cannot wait to have you there!
