McIntyre Hall Presents A Brass Menagerie - and afternoon of selected masterworks for brass quintet. The third concert of the Masterworks Chamber Music series features the Skagit Brass Quintet, made up of some of Skagit Valley’s finest brass players: Cindy Luna and Bennie Rawson on Trumpet, Danny Kavanaugh on French Horn, Amy Kavanagh on Tuba, and Vince Fejeran on Trombone. Skagit Brass Quintet is unique in its versatility of musical styles, allowing the quintet to perform music from Sousa to Bach and Ewald to Ellington. Its members perform with Skagit Symphony, A’Town Big Band,
North Cascade Concert Band, The Skagit Community Band, as well as other chamber ensembles.
The intimate Masterworks Chamber Music concert takes place in the Studio Space at McIntyre Hall. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy refreshments during the concert. Light appetizers and refreshments are included in the ticket price. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
