Class Dates: Sundays 3/1 through 4/12 from 1-4pm (6 sessions). No class on Easter day - 4/5

Activity Description: Join us for this 6-week journey into learning how to use multiple textures in acrylic painting. Learn the basics of simple portrait painting made easy with Instructor Rebecca Whitman. This class is appropriate for beginners and continuing artists of all levels. Rebecca will guide you step by step through the process of creating your own unique angel on a 20X20 inch canvas. Each class session is approximately 3 hours long. This is a total of 18 hours of instruction across the entire workshop. We recommend this level for teens ages 13 and older and adults. Students must register at least 7 days in advance of the first class session to allow purchase of required materials.

More Information: This level prepares the student to move naturally into our intermediate level classes. We highly recommend that students stay in this level for a significant amount of time before moving up. We ask students to develop a plan with the instructor that is appropriate for their individual growth and comfort level. Our goal is to remove the struggle that can come with trying to advance too quickly and we will work closely with each student to help find the best path to success.
