The course equips current and emerging leaders with practical, behavior-based skills in communication, coaching, goal setting, performance management, trust-building and conflict resolution. Each four-hour session combines instruction with skills practice, group discussion, and real-world application.

Bert Eades, Business Development Director at GENEDGE, emphasized the long-term value: “When organizations invest in developing leaders, they see measurable impacts in employee engagement, retention, and productivity. This course is structured to give supervisors and managers the tools they need to lead with confidence and clarity.”

Local industry leaders agree on the program’s impact. Amelia Cheek, HR Business Partner at IperionX, shared: “Our leaders who attended past sessions came back more prepared to handle real challenges. They’re more effective coaches, better communicators, and stronger contributors to our culture.”

Education partners are also key to the program’s success. Chad Younger, Director of Workforce Services at Danville Community College, noted: “We’re proud to host this training on our campus. DCC is committed to supporting regional workforce development, and programs like this provide immediate and lasting benefits for local employers.”
