Site Specific Training (SST)

You don’t need to take this training if you did it in a previous year or will not be working in Lash Miller.

Below is everything you need to know about the Health and Safety onboarding process, including the mandatory online training you will need to complete prior to the SST training.

Before the SST Training

• Read and be familiar with our Safety SOPs
• Complete the mandatory safety training requirements (see page 1)
• Print the Site Specific Training check-list LM-SST as you will need to bring it to the training

• Bring the LM-SST checklist and meet me at the Chem Stores (LM-20) in the basement of the Lash Miller building
• The first part of the LM-SST checklist (in Blue) will be completed and signed once the training is done

• Ask your PI to get the Group Specific Training (specific to your lab/group) done within 2 weeks
• PI to complete and sign the GST checklist (in Green)
• Print the Key Request form and get it signed by the PI
• Email: to book an appointment to pick up the key
