I haven’t had an official campaign "kickoff" event yet. I think it’s time.
This won't be a typical campaign event, though. There won’t be long speeches or a big performance. I want to create space for real conversations with real people.
I’m inviting people to come sit with me―one at a time, five minutes each, I'm asking people to pull up a chair, ask me anything, say what’s on your mind, or just have a conversation about what you want to see in our community. Others are welcome to listen in as the conversations happen.
We’ll have light snacks, good people, great ideas, and I’ll be giving away 35 books that have shaped me over the past 26 years.
