Calling all caped crusaders and notorious masterminds! The Elko Area Chamber invites the community to suit-up for the next installment of the Sippin' Saturday series; the Cape Crusade: Superheroes vs. Villains Cocktail Walk on Saturday, August 1st at Rubies Sports Bar & Nightclub, 442 Idaho Street, at 4:00 PM.
Whether you fight for justice or prefer a little mischief, this action-packed evening promises heroic fun throughout downtown Elko. Participants can enjoy a variety of cocktails at over 20 local area businesses.
The first 150 attendees to check in will receive a special Hero/Villain ID Tag. Attendees are also encouraged to unleash their alter egos by dressing as their favorite superhero, villain, or original character for the evening's costume/photo contest, where the best-dressed participants will have the chance to win $100 in Chamber Checks.
Admission is $30 per person and includes a commemorative glass to use throughout the event; all participants must be 21 years of age or older to take part. Sales will be between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, with the event concluding at 7 PM.
Can't save the day on August 1st? Make sure to mark your calendar for the next one; September 19th – Balloons and Bubbly Cocktail Walk, October 17th – Sip or Treat Cocktail Walk and November 21st – Santa Crawl Cozy Cocktail Walk.
