When was the last time you sat down for two hours with no screen, no rushing, and something beautiful taking shape under your hands?
That is what this class is. Buttercream painting is the hand-painted cake trend you have seen all over Instagram, and it is far easier than it looks. You use colored buttercream and small brushes to paint florals, butterflies, or any design you dream up, directly onto a frosted cake. If you can hold a brush, you can do this.
Chef Carla Scaturro, guides you stroke by stroke at one long, beautifully set table with fresh flowers, a palette at every seat, and tea service throughout the evening. Warm tea, little bites on tiered trays, soft conversation, and buttercream. This is the slowest, sweetest night on our calendar.
Your evening is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Reserve your seat. Come solo, with friends, or with someone you love. Every seat is set and waiting for you.
- Sip and paint. We pour the tea while Chef Carla teaches you simple buttercream painting techniques on your own 6-inch cake. No baking, decorating, or art experience needed.
- Take home your masterpiece. Your finished cake goes home in a clear keepsake box tied with ribbon, ready to be admired before it is devoured.
You will leave calmer than you arrived, with a cake you painted yourself and an evening you will want to repeat.
