This November, Sip and Sushi is all about gathering, gratitude, and sharing an unforgettable meal together. Join us November 18 for our Give Thanks Edition, a special evening celebrating the season through food, wine, creativity, and connection with thoughtfully curated pairings from Besson Family Vineyards.

Sip and Sushi continues its evolution from omakase into a refined kaiseki inspired dining experience. Omakase translates to “I leave it up to you,” placing trust in the chef’s vision and creativity. Kaiseki deepens that philosophy through seasonality, balance, harmony, and artful presentation. More than simply a tasting menu, kaiseki is a progression, with each course intentionally designed to reflect the ingredients, colors, textures, and feeling of the season.

For our Give Thanks Edition, the chefs at Sushi Confidential will present an 8 to 10 course omakase to kaiseki progression showcasing pristine seafood, premium meats, and seasonal fall produce. This is not just raw fish. Expect delicate sashimi alongside warm preparations, comforting autumn flavors, seasonal ingredients, and signature creations that blend Japanese technique with California creativity.

Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines from Besson Family Vineyards, bringing the character of the Santa Clara Valley to the table. Every pairing is selected to complement the progression of the menu, creating a journey from lighter, delicate flavors to the richer and more comforting notes of late fall.
